Rise to the occasion with our delicious and nutritious millet pita bread! Made with wholesome NihKan’s Sprouted millet flour, this bread is packed with fiber, protein, and vitamins. Perfect for snacking, sandwiching, or dipping. Try our simple recipe below!

Recipe:

Ingredients:

•⁠ ⁠2 cups Nihkan Sprouted millet flour (available on amazon to buy, link in bio)
•⁠ ⁠1/2 cup Nihkan green banana flour (available on amazon to buy, link in bio)
•⁠ ⁠1/4 teaspoon salt
•⁠ ⁠1 teaspoon sugar
•⁠ ⁠1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
•⁠ ⁠1 1/2 cups warm water
•⁠ ⁠2 tablespoons olive oil
Some seeds for topping.

Instructions:

 1.⁠ ⁠In a large mixing bowl, combine millet flour, banana flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
 2.⁠ ⁠Gradually add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
 3.⁠ ⁠Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
 4.⁠ ⁠Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
 5.⁠ ⁠Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
 6.⁠ ⁠Punch down the dough and divide into 4-6 equal portions.
 7.⁠ ⁠Roll out each portion into a ball and flatten into a disk shape.
 8.⁠ ⁠Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each pita.
 9.⁠ ⁠Brush with olive oil. Sprinkle dome seeds and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
10.⁠ ⁠Enjoy your delicious and healthy millet pita bread!

Tips:

•⁠ ⁠we have used binder - green banana flour, but you can use any starch like tapioca or potato starch as well. 
•⁠ ⁠Adjust the amount of water according to the flour’s absorption.
•⁠ ⁠For a crisper crust, bake for an additional 2-3 minutes.
•⁠ ⁠Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for later use.

Made with Nihkan’s Millets Baking mix which is high in protein and fibre. Contains goodness of sprouted millets, lentils and green banana flour. Clean ingredients, with no preservatives..!! 

Recipe 👇

Ingredients for 8 medium muffins:

100 gms -1cup Nihkan Millets baking mix flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
Luke warm Milk of your choice - 3/4 cup	
2tsp vinegar 
Pinch of salt 
1/4 cup oil
2/3 cup sugar / cane sugar 
1/2 tsp vanilla extract 
Luke warm Water -1/2 cup 
chocolate chunks 

Add all ingredients one by one and mix using folding method. Bake at 180 C for 25 mins.
